We Welcome Back ThorNton Creek with Special Guest Heidi Matthews!

ThorNton Creek is a band of Eclectic Americana from the Pacific Northwest
Expect soulful singing, hot licks and shenanigans as only ThorNton Creek can produce.

The JerKels Special Wednesday Show!

Join us Wednesday July 8 for a special performance! The JerKels formed in 2009, after well-regarded musicians Jerry Battista (guitar and mandolin) and Kelly Van Camp (guitar and harmonica) met when both were members of  the rockabilly/roots rock band The Dusty 45s. 

These very talented and fun guys have a combined 70 + years as professional musicians, and have been in countless bands of various genres over those years. Jerry is best known as lead guitarist in The Davanos, while Kelly is in too many bands to name, including several Honky Tonk groups and his Beatles band The Flaming Pies.

It's a real treat to hear Kelly and Jerry's acoustic duo! With their incredible chemistry and infectious energy, they work their magic on a vast range of danceable tunes, from many decades, for a guaranteed rollicking good time.

The Sheridan is pleased to present Jazz Underground!

Founded in 2004, Jazz Underground is a Seattle-based contemporary jazz big band. Their repertoire includes a wide variety of music from Count Basie, Buddy Rich and Stan Kenton to Jaco Pastorius, Michael League, Maria Schneider, Greg Adams, Frank Zappa, Tom Molter and Nelda Swiggett. In addition, the group performs music by Pacific Northwest composers and arrangers, including original tunes by members of the band. Jazz Underground celebrated their twentieth anniversary with a concert at the Rainier Arts Center in 2024 and they play regularly at Seattle's Royal Room.

They have presented performances at the Moore Theater in Seattle, Tula's Restaurant and Jazz Club, The Northwest Folklife Festival, 5 Rights Brewing Company in Marysville, Skagit Valley College, on the Market Stage at Crossroads Bellevue, the Sheridan Market and Roadhouse, Third Place Commons, Aurora Borealis, the Columbia City Theater, Shoreline Community College, the historic Lincoln Theater in Mount Vernon, Seattle's University District Street Fair, Taste of Tacoma, the Jackson Street Jazz Walk at Ernestine Anderson Place, Port of Anacortes, Mill Creek Town Center, West Seattle Summer Fest, Westport Ole Fashioned 4th of July, Highway 99 Blues Club and on local radio.

The band also makes numerous school and community appearances every year. Jazz Underground's music is available to download or stream wherever you get your music.

Join us for the Roosevelt Jazz Band I End of The Year Concert led by Hannah Mowry!

There is a $10 Suggested Donation - this is an all ages Event!

Jazz Band 1 is a group of advanced music students who uphold a long tradition of excellence in Big Band Jazz at Roosevelt High School. The band, directed by Hannah Mowry, is considered one of the nation’s top high-school jazz bands, and has been regularly selected to participate in the highly competitive Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition and Festival in New York City where the band has taken top honors.

The group has traveled to festivals and competitions throughout the western United States. The band is open to students in grades 9-12. Auditions for the upcoming school year are held in June at the end of the current school year. Students enroll in a class that meets daily, and attend extra rehearsals as required. PARKING IS PLENTIFUL BUT ESOTERIC. There are about 24 spaces right in front of the building, (OK to park on grass, pull ALL the way in as sometimes we need to stack cars!)

We welcome back Jeff Kashiwa and The Shoreline College Jazz Ensemble!

Led by renowned saxophonist Jeff Kashiwa, this Ensemble is back for a Live Show at the Sheridan Market on June 6th starting at 7 PM!

The Shoreline Jazz Ensemble ia a competitive audition-based group featuring a highly diverse mix of students and community members. It focuses on contemporary jazz styles, improvisation, and sight-reading, regularly performing at local venues, festivals, as well as the Shoreline Theater.

A unique spin of Bellydance Show showcasing all solo dancers performing to MYSTERY MUSIC chosen by your Hostess Paulina and picked from a ‘hat’!

The Wild Orchids Troupe will be performing their Special Piece of Music as an added Highlight!

On top of that, we will be celebrating our beloved Zanuba’s Birthday!

This is a fun and great show, with different styles of Bellydance Music because the dancers will not know what songs they will perform to! Also we have David Metz doing Live Drum Solos for our dancers!

This is the annual recital for guitarist Ian Hughes’  school-aged students. Expect a couple student ensembles, maybe a piano player or two, and a whole lot of guitar!

Note about parking: We allow parking on the grass and under the billboard. Please park perpendicular to the rocks lining the parking lot. We realize parking is a challenge and we are here to help make it as easy as possible! some parking is also allowed on NE 155th on the right side of the road, along a chain link fence.
